Station in-charge Prashant Kumar Mishra said that the marriage procession of the daughter of a person living in Sector A of the old metropolitan area was scheduled for May 5. All the preparations for the marriage were done. The people of the girl's side were engaged in making arrangements for the wedding procession. Many relatives had also come to the house.
The family members and the relatives were very happy about the marriage. Before the wedding procession arrived in the evening, the bride went out with her friends to get ready in the beauty parlour. After that, she went missing. Meanwhile, all was set to begin the wedding procession. Distressed family members searched for the girl all over the city. Despite this, nothing could be known about him.

After this, the relatives complained to the police station, fearing an untoward incident. According to the family members, the police have been giving them only assurances for the last four days.
