Lakhimpur: After the demise of former External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, people are paying tribute to her in their own way. A unique tribute was paid by an artist in Lakhimpur district of Uttar Pradesh. Aman Gulati drew her portrait on a one-inch seed of almond.
Featured in Guinness book of world records and recipient of many awards, Gulati was shattered when he heard the news of her demise.
"Once I had to reach Kenya urgently to receive an award. But there was some problem with my passport. When the officials in Lucknow showed reluctance in dealing with my problem, I told them that I will tweet to Sushma Swaraj about the issue. In fear of the tweet, they requested me not to tweet and addressed my problem. That was the level of influence she had on people. Her name was enough to get the problems solved," Gulati said.
