Under-construction bridge collapses in Uttar Pradesh's Etah

Etah (Uttar Pradesh): An under-construction bridge collapsed in Uttar Pradesh's Etah on Friday evening. As per the reports, the incident took place near Chachena area while lifting a slab of the overbridge. 

While talking to ETV Bharat, area in-charge Dr Dev Anand said that several people, JCB and a four-wheeled vehicle were feared trapped beneath the rubble. 

Meanwhile, a rescue operation is underway and people who have been rescued were sent to the hospital. 

However, the area in-charge denied disclosing the exact figures of the dead and injured people.
