Ghaziabad: Two men have been arrested for allegedly harassing a woman, and attacking her family members with iron rods when they intervened, police said.
It is learnt that four men followed the woman as she was going to the market. They then demanded her mobile phone number and attacked her family members when they came rushing to help her.
The woman also got injured in the fight and have stitches on her forehead.
Interacting with the media here, the victim said the accused are her neighbours and have been following her for some time but on Saturday they asked her to share her phone number with them and when she refused and informed her family members, they attacked them with iron rods, injuring her brother, father and other relatives critically.
