Three electrocuted in Muzaffarnagar

Three persons were electrocuted to death in separate incidents in UP's Muzaffarnagar district.

Muzaffarnagar: Three people were electrocuted in different areas of the district here, police said on Sunday.

All three incidents occurred on Saturday.

Khalil (50) was electrocuted when he came in contact with a high tension wire in his shop near Roorkee road in the city, while 30-year-old Amit was electrocuted in Haryakheri village under Budhana police station in the district, police said.

In the third incident, Karan (23) was electrocuted in his home at Kheri Sarai village under Miranpur police station in the district, they added.
