Fatehpur (Uttar Pradesh): A government school in Uttar Pradesh’s Fatehpur district has been garnering a lot of attention owing to its unique teaching methods.
The teachers at Ahinda public school are imparting knowledge with the help of dance and music.
From morning prayers to chapters, everything is taught via music, making every class interesting for the students.
As a result of this effort, the school witnessed a high percentage of attendance ranging between 85-90 percent, much higher than some of its other contemporaries.
Ahinda composite school which accommodates around 395 students follows English- medium curriculum and has become a role model for other government schools.
Assistant teacher Ram Prasad, who is a retired Naval officer, has played a crucial role in making learning fun for the kids.
The students grasp the content easily if it is delivered with the help of music, said Prasad.

"The environment in the school is easygoing thus the children are always excited to attend school. They are able to get rid of their inhibitions with the help of various cultural activities conducted here," said Prasad.

Ram Prasad has been honoured for his teaching style numerous times at district and state levels.
Shaheen Jamla, Principal of the school said, "In our school, the model of education is in sync with any other convent school. The entire staff has been cooperative, even the parents of the students have collaborated."
