Firozabad (Uttar Pradesh): In a shocking incident, a 16-year-old girl was allegedly shot dead by three youths after they entered her home in Firozabad, Uttar Pradesh.
The incident took place on Friday night.
According to Ajay, father of the girl, three youths knocked their door at midnight and when the girl opened the door, they allegedly shot her in the head following which she lost her life.
Ajay and brother of the girl were on the terrace at the time of the incident.
Ajay further said that her daughter was a student of Class XI and on Friday while returning from school, the three boys, Gaurav Chak, Sopli Yadav and Manish Yadav allegedly harassed her.
The girl had resisted the attempt after which the boys threatened her of dire consequences.

As soon as the police received the information, they reached the spot.
Police have filed a case in this connection and have started a manhunt to nab the accused.
Earlier, a 45-year-old man was beaten to death by two persons and his son injured over a monetary dispute in Banda.
The man, Mathura Yadav, had lent Rs 1,500 to Saurabh, who refused to give back the money. To compensate for his loss, Mathura took home Saurabh's bicycle, following which he, along with his relative Pradeep, barged into Mathura's home and beat him up after which he died on his way to hospital.
