Kaushambi (Uttar Pradesh): Eight people died and one was grievously injured when a sand-laden truck overturned on their car in Uttar Pradesh's Kaushambi.
Nine people were returning from a wedding ceremony in a Scorpio car when the accident occurred near Maheshwari guest house at Deviganj town at around 3.30 am.
On being informed, senior police officers visited the spot.

The passengers of the car were immediately rushed to hospital where eight of them were declared brought dead.
The bodies have been sent for postmortem, police said.
"The truck had a tyre burst because of which it had overturned. Further probe is being conducted," said DM, Kaushambi.
