Mathura (Uttar Pradesh): Indian Army sepoy Ramveer, who was posted in 8 JAT battalion, was martyred during an encounter which broke out between terrorists and security forces in Jammu and Kashmir's Shopian district in the early hours of Friday.
The body of the deceased jawan will reach his native village Hulwana of Uttar Pradesh on Saturday (August 3) morning for his last rites.
The family of the deceased was later informed about his martyrdom by the Army.
Ramveer was a resident of Kosi Kalan town of Mathura district.
He joined 8 JAT battalion seven years ago and completed his training from Bareilly.
Recently, he was posted in Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Ramveer's father Kishor Singh is a farmer. He had married seven years ago and is survived by his wife and two sons Shivam (4 years) and Aditya (5 months).
