Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh): Lucknow police is questioning Kanhaiya Vishwakarma alias Girdhari, who was arrested in connection with Ajit Singh murder case.
During the questioning, Girdhari revealed that he killed Ajit at the behest of Kuntu Singh. He also said that former MP Dhananjay Singh helped them in arranging the shooters.
Girdhari has also made many important revelations.
On 6 January, former block chief Ajit Singh was shot dead in Gangwar at the Kathuta intersection of Vibhuti Khand police station. Four shooters were involved in this attack in which a shooter was also shot.
The shooter was first treated by a private doctor in the capital at the behest of Dhananjay Singh but was taken to Sultanpur after his condition did not improve.
While the names of jailed mafia Kuntu Singh, Akhand Singh, and shooter Girdhari were registered in the murder case, it was also said that Ajit Singh was the shooter of the Mukhtar Ansari gang alleging the involvement of many more people in this murder.
A total of four shooters were involved in this murder including Girdhari Vishwakarma. There was a reward of Rs 1 lakh on Girdhari who was arrested by Delhi Police.
