Ghaziabad: With Vikas Dubey, the dreaded gangster who allegedly killed eight policemen in Kanpur last week, arrested and five of his associates getting killed in different encounters, the Uttar Pradesh police is on the lookout for the remaining gang members.
The police personnel are visiting hotels and lodges and informing the staffers about the wanted criminals who may come to stay there.
One of the hotel workers told ETV Bharat that the police have pasted a poster of all the wanted criminals near his front desk and asked him to inform them in case any of the criminals come to stay.
The poster has photographs of the wanted criminals and contact numbers of the police stations, so that information could be shared with the authorities immediately.
Dubey was arrested from Madhya Pradesh on Thursday while five of his associates were killed in different encounters since Friday last when they killed eight policemen, including a senior official.
