Ballia (UP): Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party President (SBSP) Om Prakash Rajbhar on Tuesday claimed, "Poor people are drinking contaminated water from ages, hence they have more ability to fight with the deadly disease COVID-19."
Speaking to the media at his residence in Ballia, he said that the Coronavirus has come during the President Donald Trump's tour to India but the Centre didn't take any concrete steps at that time due to which this virus had soon spread like a pandemic.
He also accused the BJP govt of mistreating the migrant labourers at the time of Corona.
The central government took decisions too late. Hence, people of the middle class and poor sections are most affected today, Om Prakash stated.
Migrant workers are returning to their hometowns as they are suffering from hunger and unemployment, he added.
