Mathura: A policeman, who was on duty to scan people for any possible coronavirus symptoms at a temple entrance here, fainted.
He was wearing a Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while thermal scanning people before entering Shri Krishna Janmasthan Temple in the city when the incident took place.
Other police personnel rushed for his help and removed his PPE before taking him to a nearby hospital.

No police official spoke to the media over the issue even after repeated attempts by the ETV Bharat.
Temples, mosques, churches and other places of worship have been reopened in India from June 8 after over a two-month-long coronavirus-induced lockdown imposed in the last week of March.
