Prayagraj: In a sensational case the daughter of a police inspector shot her teenage brother in Uttar Pradesh's Prayagraj district on Tuesday evening.
Amrendra Singh (16) was severely injured and immediately rushed to the SRN hospital where he is being treated.
As per information, after shooting her brother, the girl made up a story saying that some goons had opened fire and fled away.
However, while interrogation by the police, the girl accepted her crime but have not revealed the reason for shooting as of now.
She said that she will reveal everything in front of her father who is posted as an inspector in Azamgarh district.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Chakresh Mishra said that the girl accepted her crime while questioning and further probe is underway.
