Basti: A physically challenged four-year-old girl, who was unable to speak and walk, was left unattended at the district hospital here.
Physically challenged girl abandoned in UP
The abandoned girl was found lying on the floor of the veranda of the Children's Ward of the hospital when some people noticed her and informed the hospital authorities.
"People at the hospital told us about the child lying unattended near the Children's Ward. I got her admitted and it was found out that the girl was physically challenged. She could not walk and speak. She, however, had no other problem," Dr P K Chowdhary told ETV Bharat here.
Meanwhile, the girl was sent to a Child Care Home.
Further investigation is on.
