Ayodhya (Uttar Pradesh): A high-level meeting of top officials was held on Tuesday, which deliberated upon the security measures at the Ram Temple complex in Uttar Pradesh's Ayodhya.
A meeting of the Ram Janmabhoomi standing security committee, which happens once every three months, was held at a resort in Ayodhya today.
ADG security VK Singh and ADG (Lucknow Zone) SN Sabat were present at the meeting which was also attended by the IG CRPF, IG Ayodhya Range, and other high-ranking officials.
According to reports, discussions were held about improving the security set-up at the temple site.
ADG Singh said that officials first decided upon the security-related issues, and then held detailed discussions on the same.
It was reportedly decided that proper security measures must be taken in order to ensure that the construction of the temple continues smoothly and that pilgrims have no issues in the future.
Further, it was also reportedly decided to make a consolidated security plan for both the makeshift Ram Lalla temple and the main under-construction temple.
