Noida police plan plasma bank in city

On the lines of Delhi and West Bengal, where plasma banks have been established to treat COVID-19 patients, Noida police have come forward suggesting that one could be created in the city. Its personnel have offered to donate plasma for the proposed facility.

Noida: Noida police have expressed their desire to have a plasma bank for treating COVID-19 patients with many of its personnel, who have recovered from coronavirus disease, willing to donate plasma.

Additional DCP Ankur Agarwal told ETV Bharat here that the police force was doing everything possible to help people in the coronavirus times, and the force also wants to donate plasma so that a bank could be established to help the affected.

He said all possible steps are being taken to help people in every situation.
