Lucknow: In a heartening display of humanity, Muslim youths in Lucknow helped a Hindu family to conduct the last rites of a deceased Corona victim. Ramswarup, who is a resident of Rahimabad Village of Malihabad died of Covid19. Following his death, the family relatives refused to help in the last rites. However, Muslim neighbours of Ramswarup came forwards and helped the family to conduct the last rites as per Hindu customs and traditions.

65-year-old Ramswarup's conditioned worsened on Tuesday. His son Hansraj tried to take him to a hospital on Wednesday morning, but his father breathed his last in his arms. Following this, Ramswarup's extended family members and relatives debated a lot but refused to help the family. However, two Muslim youths - Naushad Ali and Shamshad Ali came forward and helped the family to conduct the last rites of the deceased according to Hindu traditions.
