Muslim women perform Sri Ram arti in Varanasi

For the last 14 years, the Muslim women of Varanasi have been continuously performing Maha arti on Deepavali and Ram Navami, conveying communal harmony, brotherhood and Indian cultural unity.

Varanasi: Continuing with the tradition in Varanasi, Muslim women associated with the Vishal Bharat Sansthan on Saturday prayed to and did aarti of Lord Shri Ram where he took the human incarnation and freed the earth from terror. It is when he returned to Ayodhya, Diwali was celebrated.

Mahant Balak Das Ji Maharaj was the chief guest of Shri Ram Maharti program.

Today, the darkness of religious terrorism has covered the whole world. In such a situation, faith and devotion can challenge and counter terrorism.

On this occasion, Muslim women in Indresh Nagar also made Rangoli, decorated the area with colourful lamps. Nazneen Ansari also performed and sang the Shri Ram arti.

Talking about the event, Nazneen said, "Today we all together performed the Arti of Prabhu Shri Ram because whoever was born in India, their ancestor is Prabhu Shri Ram and we follow the slogan 'sabke Ram'. We aim to remove religious discrimination."

The Muslim women singing the Arti in a rhythmic manner showed the world India's cultural integrity.
