Mumbai STF recovers stolen goods worth Rs 2 cr from Uttar Pradesh
Mumbai Special Task Force raided the residence of a LIC agent at Subodhnagar colony in Uttar Pradesh's Amroha district and recovered stolen items like bedsheets, chemicals, copper-brass gift items, oil drums among several other things. The recovered items are said to be of worth Rs 2 crore.
Amroha: Mumbai Special Task Force (STF) conducted raids in Amroha and Moradabad of Uttar Pradesh and recovered goods worth Rs 2 crore which was stolen from Mumbai two months ago.
The stolen goods were, reportedly, to be loaded into containers and shipped abroad. The goods were kept at a rented warehouse in Amroha.
Based on a call detail, the STF team took a resident of Amroha into custody and conducted raids.
The team raided the residence of a LIC agent at Subodhnagar colony and recovered items like bedsheets, chemicals, copper-brass gift items, oil drums among several other things.
According to sources, a local BJP leader was also involved in this who is presently on the run.
Speaking on this, Vijay Kumar Rana, Circle Officer, said that the Mumbai STF had come two days ago. They conducted raids and recovered some stolen items which they have taken with them.
