Hamirpur: Most people know about Krishna Mehra from Hrithik Roshan starrer superhit Bollywood movie 'Krrish', who used to catch live fish with his bare hands. Transform this to real time where a young lad Sugar Nishad from Uttar Pradesh's Hamirpur does the same and in fact does more to everyone's surprise.
Nishad (24) gained popularity for catching live fish with his bare hands. The 24-year-old carries the act by jumping into the Yamuna river and can perform this feat not only with his hands but also with his mouth too. Without any fishing net or hook, seeing him catching fish with the quirky way leaves everyone astonished.
Sugar takes extreme pleasure in fulfilling the request of the people who, while standing at the bank of the river, demand a fish of their choice. Then in a filmy style, Sugar takes a dip into the deep waters and comes out with fishes one by one both with his hands and mouth.
The boy's Merapur Mohalla, where he grew up, is located between the Betwa and Yamuna rivers. He has spent his entire childhood braving the waters of these rivers.
Sugar while growing up learnt the art of bringing out live fishes with his hands without the help of any fishing net or hook. People in his village at times believe that the boy is blessed with some divine power.
