Martyred CRPF jawan's family unable to come to terms of his death

The CRPF jawan Ashwani Kumar Yadav, who attained martyrdom fighting terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir's Handwara on May 3, has last spoken to his wife two hours before the attack over the phone.

Ghazipur: A pall of gloom has descended in the native village of CRPF jawan Ashwani Kumar Yadav, who attained martyrdom fighting terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir's Handwara on May 3.

The CRPF jawan has last spoken to his wife two hours before the attack over the phone.

Martyr's wife Asha Devi said: "He said duty is over and he will call me after reaching the camp."

The sole bread earner of the family had expressed his desire to buy a bicycle for his daughter after returning home.

"He wanted me to become a doctor. He assured me to buy a bicycle when he comes home," CRPF jawan's daughter Aysha said.

The CRPF jawan is survived by his wife, four-year-old son Aditya, six-year-old daughter and mother Lalmuni. He has two younger brothers Anjani Yadav and Mulayam Yadav who are preparing for competition exams along with practising farming.

The martyred CRPF jawan in 2005 joined the army in Phaphamau of Allahabad.

CRPF jawan Ashwani Kumar Yadav, was a resident of Nonahra in Uttar Pradesh.

Meanwhile, CRPF jawan had encouraged youth in his village to join the army and has also helped people financially to fill up forms and for necessary needs.
