Agra: Despite the government's historical triple talaq bill, a man in Uttar Pradesh's Agra has divorced his wife on Friday by pronouncing triple talaq just after three hours of their marriage. He pronounced triple talaq because his demand for a car in dowry wasn't fulfilled by his in-laws.
On August 16, the bride Rubi from Agra's Hari Parvat got married to Nadeem who belongs Rajasthan's Dholpur.
Three hours after marriage the groom Nadeem started demanding a car in dowry. Though the family of the bride tried to persuade him, he was adamant on his demand and in a fit of rage, he pronounced triple talaq to his wife and left her house.
