Lucknow: Police in Uttar Pradesh arrested a man for marrying three women at different times using fake names. Mohammad Abid alias Aditya Singh was arrested in Lucknow on a complaint from one of the women.

The woman, who is the second wife of Abid, filed a complaint in the Indira Nagar police station where she stated that he married her in 2016 with a fake name and false professional details.
According to the FIR, Abid has seven children and forced his wives to change their religion.
The woman, a resident of Indiranagar Sector-9, informed that Abid had cheated many girls and he met her in 2015 on the pretext of being an 'encounter specialist' in the crime branch.

He was a tenant in the woman's house and started blackmailing her by threatening to expose her private pictures and videos to force her to marry him.
After one year the woman came to know his real identity. She said he also tried to kill her if she did not convert to Islam.
"According to the complaint, the accused was constantly assaulting the woman and also took away Rs 16 lakhs from her. In February, he married another woman in Jhansi," according to police inspector Ajay Tripathi.
