Moradabad: A five-year-old boy was allegedly kidnapped when he was playing outside his house here in Uttar Pradesh on Friday.
The incident took place in Linepara locality under Majhaula police station limits of Moradabad district.
Moradabad police have constituted teams to track down the kidnappers, who demanded Rs 30 lakh ransom from the family.
The kidnappers have reportedly warned the family to not involve the police in the matter.
Kid's father received a call from the unknown number when they were searching for the child in the locality.
Moradabad's superintendent of police Prabhakar Chaudhary went to meet the family members of the kid late night on Friday.
