Bahraich: The Indo-Nepal border near the district has now been opened for Indian nationals to cross over with proper documents.
Nepal had sealed the borders off on March 23 owing to the coronavirus pandemic. Since then, traffic between the two countries has been completely closed for the last 10 months.
According to information provided by the Nepal Home Ministry to the media, all 26 routes along the Indian border have been opened, including Jamunha in Nepal's Banke district, Gaurifanta in Kailali district, Gaddachowki in Kanchanpur district, Jhulaghat in Baitri district and Dharchula.

Movement between the two countries has been allowed as before since Friday, keeping in mind the coronavirus protocols.
