Home Guards to get salaries even if quarantined, hospitalized

Uttar Pradesh government announcing that Home Guards who have been deployed for duty related to coronavirus would continue to get their salaries even if they are either quarantined or hospitalized after getting infected.

Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh government has announced that Home Guards deployed for coronavirus related duties would continue to get their salaries in case they get infected.

Over 85000 home guards are on duty in several districts of the state.

In a government order, it was said that if home guard personnel are quarantined or admitted in hospital for treatment, they would continue to get their salaries.

The order has brought a much-awaited relief to the volunteer paramilitary force.
