Speaking exclusively to ETV Bharat, Shafiqur Rahman Barq, the MP from Uttar Pradesh's Sambhal said, "Due to three contentious farm laws, I think that BJP is set to lose more than 50% vote share in Uttar Pradesh and Samajwadi Party will return to power with a majority as we and our leader Akhilesh Yadav has always been standing and speaking in support of farmers."
On being asked that why are all parties have suddenly started focusing on Brahmin vote bank in UP, he said that Samajwadi Party has the support of all religions, we don't support one religion. We want the support of all religions and all sects, focusing on one religion will never help us to win. The party which banks on one community will definitely have to face the music in elections.
