Ayodhya: The foundation design for the construction of Ram temple in Uttar Pradesh's Ayodhya will be submitted to former principal secretary to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Nripendra Mishra on December 15, officials of Ram temple construction committee said on Monday.
Ram Mandir in Ayodhya construction is being supervised by top structural experts and engineers in India. A panel has been set up by The Ram temple construction committee, officials said.
This panel has eight members comprising India’s top structural experts and engineers. The panel is headed by former Director of Indian Institute of India (IIT) Delhi Director V S Raju, officials said.
"The main objective of this panel is to monitor the foundation laying work for the Ram temple. A meeting was held in consultation with building experts from Larsen & Toubro and Tata Consulting Engineers Limited to discuss and finalize the layout plan for the temple," an official said.
"Sandy clay is a challenge for sand experts on piling 200 feet deep for the construction of Shri Ram Temple. The test piling report has been submitted to Tata Engineers by IIT Chennai," the official added.
