Moradabad (UP): The drugs control department of Uttar Pradesh has busted a fake medicine factory and seized generic medicines in Moradabad's Civil Line area.
The factory, named Tynacs, was producing generic medicines on a large scale.
The department has also recovered several drums filled with substances that were used for making these medicines along with capsule covers. Several packing and sealing machines have also been recovered.
During the initial investigation, the drug department found that the factory was run by a man named Mohammad Asif.
Speaking to ETV Bharat, Naresh Mohan, Drug inspector Naresh Mohan said that the accused Asif was arrested and sent to jail in 2018 for making generic medicines, but after being released on bail, he again started making generic medicines.
He further said that a case will be filed against this and matter will be investigated thereon.
