Ayodhya (Uttar Pradesh): The remains found in the premises of the Ramjanmabhoomi in Ayodhya have been described by Acharya Satyendra, the chief priest of Ramlalla, as remnants of the ancient Ram temple. He said the remnants in the form of pillars, plaque, and other relics are proof that the site is indeed Lord Ram's birth place.
Situated 30 metres east of the birthplace of Lord Ram, is a place that looks like a mound. An inscription is installed at this site with a black colored pillar. The Ram temple trust has decided not to shift the pillar and the plaque from here.
The plaque located near the pillar was reportedly established by the Edward Teerth Vivechani Sabha to measure the perimeter of the Ayodhya shrine. The inscription and column was also mentioned in the decision given by the Supreme Court on the Ayodhya dispute.
Just 30 metres away from the pillar is the birthplace of Lord Ram, where Prime Minister Narendra Modi performed the Bhoomi Pujan ritual on August 5. In view of the importance of the pillars and the inscription, the surrounding land has been levelled, but the pillar and plaque have been kept intact.

The place is considered to be the proof that the site is indeed the birth place of Lord Ram. The word 'Ramjanmabhoomi' is written on the plaque, which was reportedly put up in the year 1902.
Remnants will show the antiquity of the temple
The chief priest of the makeshift Ramlalla temple, Acharya Satyendra Das said that the plaque installed in the premises marks the site of Lord Ram's birth place. He said that Lord Ram's birth place was marked by the Ayodhya Teertha Vivechani Sabha. This inscription was also mentioned in the November 2019 judgment of the Supreme Court.
This gives evidence of the birth place of Lord Ram, due to which the plaque and the pillars near it have not been removed. Just 20 feet away from this inscription is the birthplace of Lord Rama. Bhoomi Pujan has been done at this place. Therefore, the inscription has not been removed, he said.
All remnants will be kept safe
Acharya Satyendra Das said that all the remains found during the levelling of the Ram Janmabhoomi complex will be kept safe. The evidence pillar found near the birthplace of Lord Ram has been kept in the same position.
