Mahoba (UP): Mahoba district election officer has announced an award of Rs 10000 to find the Electronic Voting Machine (EVM), which was lost after the fourth phase of polling in UP on Monday.
As per officials, EVM went missing from polling booth number 127 of Naogaon Fadna village of Panwadi block after the voting for Hamirpur parliamentary constituency was over.
District administration and officials swung into action after being informed about the missing EVM. A team of officials went to the village and publically announced Rs 10000 prize for those helping in finding the whereabouts of the EVM.

According to polling officer Kamlesh Kumar, "the controller was missing from booth 127 of Panwari block's Fadna village when they reached the polytechnic ground. District election officer spent the entire night to hunt for the EVM's whereabouts but to no avail."
