Complaint filed in Ayodhya civil court against Champat Rai for purchase of Fakire Ram Mandir

A complaint has been filed in the civil court against Champat Rai, the General Secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust.

Ayodhya (Uttar Pradesh): A complaint has been filed in the civil court against Champat Rai, the General Secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust. This complaint has been registered on behalf of Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati, a disciple of Shankaracharya Swaroopanand Saraswati, regarding the sale of the 300-year-old Fakire Ram temple.

At the same time, a notice has been sent to Champat Rai from the civil court regarding this issue. The Fakire Ram temple was purchased by the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust to straighten the wall in the Ram temple. The trust has given land and money to the Mahant of the Fakire Ram temple to build the temple at another place.

At the same time, it has been demanded in the complaint that the Fakire Ram temple should not be demolished and the raga-blog-aarti should be conducted.

In the complaint filed, Mahant Raghuvar Sharan of the Fakire Ram temple, member Ram Kishore Singh, Kripa Shankar Das, and Champat Rai, General Secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, which bought Fakire Ram temple, have been made a party. Advocates Ranjit Lal Verma and Tarunjit Lal Verma appealed in the court on behalf of Swami Avimukteshwaranand.
