Lucknow: Social activist Dr. Nutan Thakur demanded the CBI to investigate the case lodged in the police station Vibhutikand and suspend the IAS officer IP Pandey immediately in connection with the transfer of money for the appointment to the post of Chairman of Kanpur Development Authority.
In her complaint sent to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Nutan Thakur said that it is clear from the case lodged in the police station Vibhutikhand that Ashwani Jaiswal, the owner of Hotel Silver Seven, also has a clear role in the aspect of money transaction.
She also mentioned that the Special Task Force is trying to save the culprits as their names are not mentioned in the FIR.
The STF also did not inquire about the role of the Chief Minister's office officers in the viral audio.
Additionally, she demanded strict action against those who are trying to save those involved in the forgery.
A sensational case of an IAS officer giving Rs 15 lakhs to a broker for getting the desired posting came to light in Uttar Pradesh.
Piyush Aggarwal was arrested immediately after the audio of his conversation with a relative of the IAS officer, regarding the posting, went viral.
The state government handed over the investigation to the Special Task Force, after which the STF arrested the broker Piyush Aggarwal.
