Missing businessman found dead in Ghaziabad

A businessman, who went missing on Monday, was found dead on Tuesday in Link Road area of Ghaziabad, police said, adding that his car was located some four kilometres away from the body. Police are probing the case.

Ghaziabad: The body of a businessman, who went missing on Monday evening, was found in the Link Road area, police said.

The police said that the businessman, identified as Ajay Paanchal, who owned an electricity cable-making factory in Rajinder Nagar Industrial Area, had left his house in Sahibabad for some work yesterday evening but he did not come back following which the family informed the police.

His car was found some four kilometres away from his body, the police said, adding that the body has been sent for postmortem and the car is being examined by the forensic team to find any possible clue to his death.

Police said there was no external injury mark on the body of the businessman. Further probe is on, the police said.
