Mathura (UP): BSP district president Jayveer Singh and his partner Chandrabhan have been accused in the case of molestation of a 12-year-old boy in UP's Mathura district, police said on Tuesday.
The incident came into light when the father of the victim, who hails from a village under Barsana police station area in Mathura, lodged a complaint against Jayveer and his partner in Kosi police station on Sunday evening.
The child named Kishor went missing from Sept 7, when he left to his brother's place to meet him, on the occasion of Ashtami.
Jayveer Singh and his partner Chandrabhan came in the bike and took the child with them on Sunday, villagers told the police.
After searching for long, his son was found unconscious in a hut outside the village, there were scratches on his body.
Later, they took the child to Kosi Kalan hospital for treatment.
A case has been registered against the leader and his partner, and an investigation into the matter is on.
