Body found in parked taxi at Mohan Nagar

In Mohan Nagar of Ghaziabad, a body was found in a parked taxi. The locals, who noticed it first, informed the police. Police officials reached the spot and took the taxi under their control to investigate the matter.

Ghaziabad: An unidentified body was found in a locked taxi parked at a busy Mohan Nagar roundabout here.

The taxi has a Delhi registration number and the police, which was informed by the people, are trying to locate its owner.

The man, who was found dead in the taxi, seems to be in his late 20s. He was hit onto his head, police said.

They have also circulated photographs of the body to ascertain its identity.

A witness told ETV Bharat here that the people noticed the taxi early in the morning and thought that someone was sleeping inside it but after a while they realized that a body was dumped in the car, and they informed the police.

Police have registered a case and are investigating the matter.
