Agra: Chaos prevailed near Fatehpur Sikri as a Chinese tourist flew a drone, reportedly damaging a monument in the area on Sunday.On receiving the information, Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) officials reached the spot with the security guards and took the Chinese tourist into custody.

This is not the first time that a foreign national was involved in such an incident. Among the historic monuments, the Taj Mahal also sustained minor damage when a foreign tourist flew a drone near it. The security officials said that the Chinese tourist was caught near the Fatehpur Sikri dargah.
During the interrogation, the foreign tourist reportedly claimed that he was not aware of the rules that flying a drone was forbidden near the monuments in Fatehpur Sikri. The tourist was asked by the ASI officials to write an apology letter and later allowed him to leave.
