BJP mulls seminars to woo intelligentsia in UP

Before the 2022 assembly elections, parties are going on a overdrive to stitch caste and religion alliances. The SP-BSP are trying to woo the Brahmins in the state by hosting seminars. Now, the BJP has also decided to hold a conference to connect with intelligentsia and retain them in the party. The party will host several conferences across the state between September 5 and 20.

Lucknow: Before the 2022 assembly elections, parties are going on a overdrive to stitch caste and religion alliances. The SP-BSP are trying to woo the Brahmins in the state by hosting seminars. Now, the BJP has also decided to hold a conference to connect with intelligentsia and retain them in the party. The party will host several conferences across the state between September 5 and 20.

According to party sources, Bharatiya Janata Party will host a conference of the intelligentsia in each assembly constituency to know about their problems, aspirations, and government policies.

Doctors, teachers, lawyers, engineers and other intellectuals of the society will be invited to these conferences. Ministers of the BJP government will also be involved in these conferences. State President of BJP and other party leaders and officials will also take part in these conferences.

BJP state spokesperson Rakesh Tripathi has said that the Samajwadi Party and Bahujan Samaj Party is working to organise caste conventions in the state. BJP will communicate with the intelligentsia of the state from September 5,which is also the birth anniversary of the former President of India, Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan.
