The village has around 250 houses without any doors. They trust snakes as their guards like any other dog owner would do.

Tejpal, a resident of the village, points out that there is no door in any house in the village. At night they leave these snakes in the open. Because of this, thieves cannot enter the house. This practise is being followed from their ancestors' time. They do not fear them at all.

This unique tradition of breeding snakes at home is also being followed by the people to prevent any unknown or suspicious person from entering the village.
