LEVEL OF ANTIBODIES IS GOOD

Sero survey in-charge Dr Nitu Chauhan said that she has the sero report of 50 people out of which the RTPC report of six people was negative. But their bodies had antibodies to fight against the coronavirus in good quantity. It is obvious that these people got infected somewhere and somehow, but when tested, their report turned out to be negative.

NO ANTIBODIES IN 10 OUT OF 100

Dr Chauhan said that so far 86 people have donated plasma to the blood bank of SN Medical College. We have 100 corona cured patients out of which 10 did not have antibodies which were established during their donor screening. They had come to donate plasma only 40 to 60 days after recovering. Their immunity was weak. There were no symptoms of the corona. Therefore, antibodies were not formed in anyone.

IMMUNITY DEPENDS ON ANTIBODIES

Dr Nitu Chauhan says that immunity has an effect on antibodies. If the immunity power is good, then a good amount of antibodies will be produced. More symptoms of the disease like more fever or difficulty in breathing will form antibodies. In the investigation of their report, there were no antibodies. When they were counselled, they revealed that they were corona positive, but they did not get any fever. Many people were complaining of loss of taste or smell only. The employees of SN Medical College and health workers in corona ward were infected and then they recovered as well. The investigation report of these people has also revealed that antibodies were not formed in them due to which they were infected again. Doctors say that patients whose immunity is weak and antibodies are not being made in them, they should focus on increasing their immunity.

TOBACCO, ALCOHOL BAD FOR IMMUNITY

Doctors of SN Medical College say that people, who smoke regularly, consume alcohol or tobacco, they do not have good quantities of antibodies even after they have recovered from the coronavirus or they have no antibodies at all. There are many problems. Such people are getting infected again. Hazardous elements of tobacco, alcohol reach the body and reduce the ability to fight diseases. For this reason, antibodies were not present in those who consume tobacco and alcohol. They had more complaints of fatigue, nervousness, restlessness and weakness.
