On the occasion, ETV Bharat spoke to Ali Hasnain Abidi of Lucknow, who saved 6,000 animals till date, and his entire house was dedicated to the protection of animals.

Normally, animal rearing was confined to villages, but now it was seen in urban areas, too, which is not only good for the environment, but also for human life. Ali Hasnain Abidi has all kinds of rats, hens, venomous snakes, rare fish, cats and cows at his residence. The house of Abidi has become a hub of animals, birds and snakes. Interestingly, Abidi has an in-depth study of the movements of each animal, that is why they are provided with a natural environment. His whole family lives among these animals. His daughter Fatima said that she has lived among these animals since her childhood.

Abidi stated that from the very beginning he was interested in animal protection and for this, he received training from various organisations after which he started rescuing animals and other creatures. Ali Hasnain said that animals are important not only vital for the protection of the environment but also for human beings. If these animals become extinct, human life will also become difficult, so it is everyone's responsibility to save them. The government has enacted a number of laws to protect animals, but due to non-compliance, the existence of large numbers of animals is in danger.
