Aligarh: Doctors, working not only at the Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College but also other hospitals across the country, are facing a shortage of personal protective kits during the treatment of the coronavirus and have also been demanding the same from the government over the past several days.
Keeping this in mind, an eleventh-grade science student from Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) has prepared a suit and a face mask.
Mohammad Ibrahim Khan said that he has made a face mask for the doctors which is made out of non-woven cloth. As the coronavirus is spreading all over the world and we are facing a shortage of masks, we thought of making such masks for the Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College.

If the administration passes it, we will make it in large numbers. By our calculations this is fine and we have made a suit as well. As the tests for the entire western Uttar Pradesh are being conducted at the Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, we made this kit for the safety of the doctor because they are lacking protective gear.
Our demand for the government is to provide us with the raw materials so that we can make it in large quantities. The cost of the mask will be 20 to 25 rupees.
Ibrahim's father, Arshad Waseem Khan said, "We have made it to the trial base. The filtration rate is not known. If the administration can get it done, it can be very beneficial for the doctors. We can make it with very little money and supply it to doctors and even ordinary people. These masks are very important for survival right now."
