Amitabh Bachhan fan forms political party in actor's name

A Bareilly-based fan of superstar Amitabh Bachchan has claimed to have formed a national level political party in the name of the popular actor. He says that required permission was taken from the actor to form a party in his name.

Bareilly: A die-hard fan of superstar Amitabh Bachchan has launched a political party in the name of the popular actor.

Javed Ansari, the fan of the actor, has claimed that he had obtained necessary permission from Amitabh Bachchan when he met him last at his residence in Mumbai to form the Amitabh Bachchan Jannayak Rashtriya Party.

"I have taken the permission," he said, adding that the party has an agenda and everything is clear on how it would work. "He is with us and he will support us," Ansari told ETV Bharat here, while sitting with the party functionaries with a poster, which has pictures of the actor and other great personalities like former president A. P. J. Abdul Kalam, B. R. Ambedkar and others, in the background.

Earlier, Ansari had a fan club in the name of the actor. He said the same has been converted into the political party, which he claims will be a national level party.
