Agra: In a move to pay respect to the guest of honour, Mayor Naveen Jain will welcome US President Donald Trump by gifting him a 'key of the Agra city' which is made of silver.
According to the officials, the key will be handed over to the US President at the Kheria airbase. The key designed by the AMC administration will be 12 inches long with a picture of Taj Mahal and 'Welcome to Agra' and 'Agra Municipal corporation' carved on both sides.
Mayor Naveen Jain explained that this will be a historic moment for the entire city. "The 'key' primarily conveys the message of warmth and love, basically we the people of Agra are giving him the key to unlock the cultural beauty of the city and make his moments memorable" he added.

With the grand preparation being made for the maiden visit of US President Donald trump and first lady Melania Trump, the key is said to have been prepared by a Delhi based jewellery designer.
According to the district administration officials, governor of Uttar Pradesh Anandiben Patel and CM Yogi Adityanath will be visiting Agra on February 24 to welcome state guests.
Donald Trump is expected to visit India on February 24 and 25, this would be his maiden visit to India as the state of a head.
