Agra: A young man from the Taj city, who claims to be highly inspired by late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, has bought a plot on the Moon.
He told ETV Bharat here that the idea of buying a piece of land on the Moon came to his mind after he got the information that the actor he admired, also had a plot on the Moon.
"I was quite unhappy after Sushant Singh Rajput's death as I consider him a role model for my life. I decided to buy land on the Moon after knowing that Sushant too had one there," Gaurav Gupta said.
He said it would have been difficult for him to buy the one-acre plot on the Moon had he not received help from his US-based friend.
"In order to buy land on the Moon one has to show a huge amount of money in his/her bank account, wherein my friend helped me and I got the plot," he said, adding that it took at least two months to complete all the formalities and the paperwork.

"An American agency Lunar Embassy sells these plots and I got one after getting to know that my favourite actor also had one there," he said.
Talking about his future plans, Gupta said he would also apply for Moon's citizenship, saying that the agency, which sells plots on the Moon, may consider sending the members to the Moon.
He also said the deal might prove beneficial for the generations to come.
