Afghan national beaten, thrown out of car by 'friends'

An Afghan woman, who got an FIR registered against her friends, informed the police that she had gone to Rishikesh with them and while they were returning to Delhi they had an argument among them over some issue following which they were beaten and threw her out of the car.

Meerut: An Afghan woman, who has been living in the national capital for the past few days, has got an FIR registered against her "friends", saying she was beaten and thrown out of the car by them in the middle of the night when they were returning to Delhi from Rishikesh in Uttarakhand.

She informed the police that she had gone to Rishikesh with Mohammad Mulla, Saddiq Mustafa and Tabassum; and while they were returning to Delhi on the intervening night of Saturday and Sunday they had an argument among themselves over some issue following which they beat her and threw her out of the car near Siwaya toll Plaza in western UP.

She called up the police and narrated the whole incident to them.

Circle Officer, Daurala, Sanjeev Dikshit told media that the police registered the case and sent her to Delhi along with a woman constable during the night itself.

Further probe is on, he said.
