Bulandshahr: The seven accused in Bulandshahr mob violence case were received with garlands and chants of 'Jai Shri Ram' by their supporters on Saturday night.
According to reports, supporters of the seven accused, who were released on bail, received them with chants including 'Vande Mataram.'
In 2018, a police inspector was killed in the clashes that broke out in Bulandshahr after cow carcasses were found dumped in a neraby jungle.
The accused are facing charges of murder and dacoity. Besides, Sedition charges were also slapped on 44 people, who were accused of instigating violence in Chingravathi area of Bulandshahr.
Locals had alleged that the carcasses were of cows, slaughtered illegally.
