Mathura: The 5-year-old boy trapped in about 100-foot deep borewell at a village in Shergarh was rescued successfully on early morning of Sunday.
Anil Kumar Singh, Assistant Commander NDRF said, "It took us 2 hours to rescue the child, army also helped us in the rescue operations."
Sher Singh, CMO Mathura said, "The child is perfectly fine, he is not facing any problems but as a precaution we have given him some necessary medicines. He will stay admitted for the night and will be released tomorrow."
Rescue operation has been underway to save a 5-year-old boy who accidentally fell into a 100-feet deep borewell while he was attempting to pluck fruits from a tree near by. The incident took place at Agaryala Village in Chhata Tehsil in Mathura district on Saturday afternoon.
