5-year-old raped in Pilibhit

In Pilibhit of UP, a minor girl, who had gone out to answer nature's call, was taken inside sugarcane fields and raped. The victim's admitted in district hospital even as the police search for the accused.

Pilibhit: A yet another case of rape has come to light from Pilibhit of Uttar Pradesh wherein a five-year-old was sexually assaulted as she had gone out to attend nature's call.

Interacting with ETV Bharat here, the victim's father said that his daughter had gone out for defecation when the incident took place.

He said the minor was taken into a sugarcane field and raped. The accused ran away seeing people coming to help the victim.

Meanwhile, a case has been registered and the girl was referred to the district hospital for medical treatment.

Dr Vinita Chaturvedi, who is monitoring the health of the sexually assaulted minor girl, has said she is being looked after well in the hospital and the girl would take time to recover.

Police are searching for the accused.
